Abstract

290,798. Modiano, J. A. April 12, 1927. Ice-cream freezers. - A freezer comprises a mould 3 for the material to be frozen suspended in a double-walled vessel 1, 2 and carrying a separate or integral plate 4 which closes the top of the space between the walls ; a lid 5 with securing means which closes the top of the apparatus, or separate lids closing the mould and the outer vessel: and a filling orifice 10 in the outer vessel with closing means 11. The lid 5 may be secured by means of coacting inclined catches upon it and the outer vessel, or by means of a bar 8 secured to it and having projecting ends which engage in slotted brackets 9 secured to the outer vessel. The orifice 10 is closed by a screw-cap provided with a turning-bar and locking means.
