Abstract

290,113. Holt, L. R. Nov. 8, 1927. Neckties.-A necktie fabric is made in piece form from a thin rubber-backed facing material vulcanized to a backing of similar or differing material. Reversible neckties may be made by making the backing of the same class of material as the facing but of different pattern, or by making it of different material. In reversible neckties, the necktie is made from one piece without folds or stitching except for preventing the fraying of the edges. In another form of the invention, the backing may cover only portions of the facing, fabric being attached in strips suitably spaced apart. An openwork backing may be employed. Specification 250,755 is referred to.
