Abstract
288,843. Macgregor, J. May 18, 1927. Lawns, sweeping; plants, treatment of growing. -Apparatus for brushing lawns, golf greens. &c. to work compost into the turf and to facilitate the drying of the grass to prevent propagation of parasitic fungi comprises two wheels, a handlebar, and a, brush connected by brace bars to the handle-bar and to the bars connecting the handlebar to the wheel axle. The handle-bar 26 is connected to the axle 21 of the wheels 22 bv bent bars 23. The brush bar 28 extends beyond the wheels and is connected to the handle-bar 26 and bent bars 23 by inclined brace bars 29, 31, the lower ends of these bars being twisted and flattened and bolted tochannel-shaped brackets 41 bolted on the brush bar 28. The position of the brush may be adjusted by varying the angles of the bars 29, 31.
