Harrows; tools; draught devices.-In a zigzag harrow provided with a front row of removable straight tines and rear rows of removable curved tines all the tines are fitted with detachable caststeel points, the points of the front tines being diamond-shaped and those of the rear tines being chisel-shaped. Each tine is of cast steel, and is square in section. It is provided with a shoulder 2 and a squared neck 3 terminating in a threaded part 4 to receive a nut 5 for securing it to the steel frame bars 16, 17, 18. The points for the first row of tines consist of diamond-shaped blades 6 of right-angled section. Those for the rear rows consist of curved blades 13 comparatively wide at their front bevelled edges and decreasing in width towards their upper parts which are right-angled in section. The blades are each secured by a pin 15 passing diagonally through the tine and cold-riveted at the flattened back of the tine. Filing away the head of the pin allows of the removal of a point. The harrow is connected to a draught bar 19 by chains 20 engaging hooked bars 21 fixed to the two front cross-bars 16, 17.
