Disinfectants and deodorants. - Naphthalene or other volatile disinfecting blocks are formed with concave external surfaces so as to increase the surface area and the rate of evaporation. The blocks may be of various cross sections such as are shown in Figs. 2, 3, and 4, or a cubic block 10, Fig. 6, may have semi-spherical or other shaped cavities 11 on some or all of its surfaces. One or more holes or passages may be formed in the blocks to further increase the exposed surface.
