Abstract
284,958. Laporte, Ltd., B., (Schlaugk Ges., M.). Sept. 21, 1927. Sodium sulphide solutions are freed from iron by treatment with a cyanide, for instance, by heating to 85‹-90‹ C. with 0.2-1.0 per cent of sodium cyanide, and settling or filtering. Substantially colourless crystals are obtained from the separated solution.
