Abstract
284,482. Baker, G. H., and Walker & Co., Ltd., J. Feb. 17, 1927. Penwipers; pen stands. -A penwiper of the type comprising a series of laminae g of absorbent material such as flannel mounted between laminae covers a, b of fairly robust, but flexible, material, the laminae are detachably secured together to permit of replacement of any part. The cover a is provided with the stem or spigot c of a press-stud or like fastening, over which the sheets g and cover b are adapted to be placed, the whole being secured together by means of a smaller disc e carrying the complement to the spigot, c. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the penwiper is mounted on a spigot n projecting from a base member l, and the whole is secured together by a pen-stand m pressed or screwed on to the spigot n.
