Abstract

Tuning-apparatus, construction of. -A device for varying the nature or the arrangement of the components connected in the tuning-circuit of a wireless receiver comprises a drum 13 carrying brushes 7, 10 - - 12a disposed in sets to establish, on rotation of the drum, various connections between fixed contacts 1 - - 5 which are connected to the various tuning components. The shaft 14 of the drum carries a ratchet wheel 19 each indentation of which corresponds with a position in which the brushes make contact with the fixed contacts and a spring-pressed arm (not shown) bears on the toothed edge of the wheel to hold the drum in position.
