Files and rasps. - A scraping cloth c, shown in front and side elevations in Figs. 1, 2, for cleaning parquet floors and for other purposes is provided with U-shaped wire scrapers b having broad flexible scraping edges. The scrapers b may, as shown, be arranged in staggered rows. The wire of the scrapers may have several edges, and is connected to the cloth by pressing the ends through the cloth and bending them down into the weave. The cloth may be in narrow strip form for laying upon scraping planes and discs, or made wider for use with scraping discs and cylinders.
