Abstract

281,183. Schweinburg, A. June 16, 1927. Cages.-A bird cage with a removable wire dome 3 has a cylindrical lower part 1 formed of glass. The ring 7 at the bottom of the wire dome extends over and lower than the top edge 2 of the part 1. A beading 5 is formed round the part 1 near the top edge and is provided with gaps 4 through which the ends of curved clamps 6 on the ring 7 may be passed. A slight turn of the dome relatively to the lower part after the clamps have passed through the recesses secures the two parts of the cage together.
