Abstract

281,100. Milne, J. Dec. 13, 1926. Artificial bait; spinning tackle.-A bait consists of sheets of coloured or plain: celluloid or similar waterproof transparent material secured together by adhesive or by rivets or other means, with, if desired, colour or colouring material such as tinsel in powdered form between the sheets. Suitable backing material, such as sheet metal, may be inserted behind the colouring material. The composite sheet material is cut to the. shape desired and, for a spinning bait, celluloid fins 13 may be secured near the head-end or the tail may be bent out of the plane of the body. Hooks may be secured by passing a cord through one or more holes arranged as desired. A swivel 14 is secured to a loop pivoted on a rivet 15.
