Oct. 26, 1926, [Convention date]. - Air, preventing admission of.-In a glassware plant in which the ware travels in a continuous manner from the melting-tank to a packing-room, a screen or partition 12 is so located in relation to the annealing-leer 1 that the, tendency for air currents to flow through the space 9 around the lehr and through the leer tunnel is minimized. As shown, the partition is situated beyond the cold end of the leer, and is formed with an opening 13, through which the conveyer 7 and the ware pass. The opening may be adjusted to the height of the ware by a pivoted flap 14. The leer is of the kind described in Specification 250,201.
