278,172. Cashman, T. W. Sept. 28, 1926. Firebars.-In a slotted or double firebar having intermediate transverse webs and recesses at the sides, the lower edges of the longitudinal webs are serrated as shown at 6, Fig. 1, and one or more apertures 7 are provided in the webs of the firebar, such apertures being staggered, if desired, with respect to those in the same or in an adjacent bar.
