Rectal appliances. - An appliance for the treatment of prolapse of the rectum, particularly in oxen, consists of a tube A having perforations B over the greater portion of its length and a groove C near one end. Between the groove C and the end of the tube are some small holes A' for holding the tube in position by means of sutures. The tube may be tapered.
