Abstract

275,034. Hirst, J. J. Aug. 30, 1926. Washing and like tanks and apparatus. - A holder for photographic plates during development &c., which is adapted for use with the long developing tanks commonly used for developing roll-films, comprises a vertical series of open racks 1 rigidly mounted in pairs on a medial support 3, each rack being adapted to support three sides of a plate to be treated. The holder may be formed of wire or of bent sheet metal. For example, each rack may be separately shaped from sheet brass, with turned-up ends 2 for supporting the three edges of the plate, and the racks may be permanently or detachably secured in pairs, back to back, on a medial strip of metal 3, provided at its upper end with a hook adapted to engage the usual cross-pin at the top of the tank.
