Bottling; corking. - In a rotary bottle filling and capping machine the lower ends of the filling pedestals B', and of the capping pedestals c', and their rollers b<1>, c are enclosed in casings E, F which contain oil. Drip channels G, H are provided around the casings. The casings E, F are connected by pipes n, n<1> to a filler-head. Tracks e<1> for the rollers are cast integrally with the casings or affixed thereto. Covers B, C for the oil baths facilitate washing down the machine without water &c. gaining access to the oil baths.
