Disc hinges; attaching to articles.-In means for connecting together the metal parts and the woodwork of school furniture, and of the type comprising dovetail lugs 2 on the side of a metal bar 1, engaging corresponding recesses 3 in the woodwork 4, together with locking pins 5 which pass through the bar 1 and are sunk in the woodwork 4, the lugs 2 are made of less depth than the bar 1 and do not extend completely through the woodwork 4. The bar 1 may be a part of a hinge.
