Abstract
268,983. Triumph Cycle Co., Ltd., and Phillips, J. A. May 13, 1926. Casings.-The casing for the push-rod 5 of the valve gear is formed in two telescoping parts 9, 10, the upper part 9 being normally secured in position as shown, but being adapted, when released, to be moved downwards to expose the adjusting-connection 8 of the push-rod. The part 9 may be slit at its upper end. and fastened to a socket 4 on the valve-rocker casing 2 by a clip 20. The valve-rocker casing 2 may be divided axially of the socket 4, or be fitted with a cover 6 for gaining access to the rocker. The part 10 of the casing is secured by dogs 13.
