Abstract

268,395. Neumann, E. March 29, 1926, [Convention data]. Electric fittings. - Metal contact caps g are secured to the bases of conical insulators e by moving the insulator and cap axially through an annular die with a bevelled aperture as shown in Fig. 1. The axial movement is obtained by the heads m, m<1> of two hydraulic rams i, k between which the insulator with its cap g is mounted. The annular die is formed bv a series of radially arranged rams h the heads f of which are bevelled and are guided in a horizontal plane by supporting rings l, l<1>.
