267,614. Molins, W. E. Dec. 18, 1925. Cigarette-making machines.-Cut-off mechanism for a continuous-rod machine comprises a vertical rotary plate 3 having a. rim 8 parallel to the axis of rotation. The moving rod 1 traverses tubes 2, 5, between the adjacent ends of which the rod rests on the horizontal portion of the rim 4 of the plate 3, which is slotted to permit the passage of a knife 7. A flange 6 is provided on the plate on the side opposite to the knife.
