Thermometers.- Means for zeroizing a clinical thermometer comprises a chain &c. 5 connected at one end to the thermometer case 1 and at the other end to a cap &c. 7 which can be held in the hand while the case 1 is whirled about by means of the chain for zeroizing the thermometer; the cap being adapted to be subsequently passed over the lower end of the case 1 so that. by rotating it about the axis of the case the chain can be wound spirally on the case for convenience in inserting the thermometer in the pocket
