Measuring wheels for plans and the like.-Comprises a graduated wheel f mounted in a frame A fitted with a pointer and a second trailing wheel mounted in a rearward extension of the frame and tracking with the main wheel. The frame A comprises two sloping metal strips a which carry between them at their lower ends a small roller b. At. their upper ends the strips are secured to the vertical metal strips c, d, the lower ends. of which carry the axle e of the large graduated wheel f. The strip d is arched over the edge of the wheel f and shaped as a circular lug g, the strip c being bent to form a similar lug h. Between the lugs is mounted a star wheel B marked in steps of two feet, which is the circumference of the big wheel. A fixed pointer D is provided.
