Abstract
266,672. Haubold Akt.-Ges., C. G. Feb. 26, 1926, [Convention date]. Guards and protectors for machinery, arrangement and disposition of; spindle apparatus.- In machines for spinning artificial silk each box or can s is enclosed in a casing g which can readily be removed to allow the driving-means m of the box to be withdrawn upwardly. Each casing comprises a cylindrical body depending from a flat plate resting on the front and rear boards, and the interior is smooth and rounded to prevent accumulation of dirt and to facilitate cleaning. A spout n is provided to carry off any acid that may collect, and between each casing a. channel r is provided in the bridge-pieces that separate the casings to carry away any acid that drips from the edges of the top plate.
