Pen stands. - A deskstand or holder for fountain-pens is provided with pen receptacles which can be tilted into various positions of angular adjustment. The receptacles 12, preferably of pyroxylin or like composition, are mounted between pivots formed by the pointed ends of screws 15, 16 which are screwed into the upper ends of metal pillars 11 mounted on a base 10, small depressions 17 being provided in the sides of the receptacles to receive the ends of the screws. The upper portions 21 of the receptacles are flared, the lower portions 19 being reduced to form internal shoulders 20 to engage the lower ends of the fountain pens.
