Cabinets with mechanically - interconnected moving parts.-In a box for smokers' requisites &c. comprising a number of compartments adapted to complete or partially form the sides of the box, the compartments 4 are mounted upon shafts 8 having secured thereto pinions 6 which mesh with a pinion 7 upon a shaft 9 provided with an actuating knob, rotation of the compartments about the shafts 8 to open or close the box, shown in the open position, being effected by rotating the shaft 9. A stop 12 engaging the walls of a slot 13 in the pinion 7 is provided to limit the angular movement of the compartments.
