Abstract

264,447. Fleming, J. G. Jan. 18, 1926, [Convention date]. Rugs. - A corner piece for preventing the curling of the edges of a rug and ior preventing the rug from slipping on a floor, comprises a triangular piece of rubber or other resilient material provided with three pins for inserting into the rug, one of the pins pointing in a direction opposite to that of the others. The device may be made from two parts, an upper part 6 of rubber 15 and fabric 8 provided with pins 13, 14, and a lower part 7 of rubber 16, 17 and fabric 9, recesses 141 being provided for the heads of the pins, so that when the parts 6, 7 are secured together by glueing or vulcanizing, the heads are embedded in the resilient material. The surface of the part 17 may be roughened as at 18.
