Abstract

An assembly 900 (e.g. a throttle, active stick, cyclics) comprising an actuator assembly 912 comprising a motor body casing 920, and a gearbox 904, and a lever 903 connected to an output stage of the gearbox 906. The assembly further comprises trunnion bearings 922, 924 configured to mount the motor body casing to a chassis (fig.10, 1002) and a link 914 configured to connect the motor body casing to the chassis, wherein the link comprises a force sensor, thus eliminating the need for a dynamic wire connection. The lever may comprise a grip. The actuator assembly may comprise motor windings and a resolver area positioned either side of the gearbox.
