Abstract
A support surface 8 suitable for supporting the forearms of a user is provided with a plurality of wheels 9 on the underside. Handles 3 pivot about an axis such that they are positioned substantially vertical 2 at one extent of rotation and substantially horizontal 4 and co-planar with, and in an aperture in, the support surface at the other extent of rotation. When the handles are vertical the device is suitable for plank exercise and bi-directional motioned plank training. When the handles are horizontal the device is suitable for abdominal stretch rolling exercises. The aperture in the support surface may also comprise an integral carrying handle 7.
Description
Description
A multi exercise wheeled device Home gym exercises users look for convenience, comfort and if the safety aspect supports them, then confidence to continue too.
However conventional pieces of home equipment can detract from the above mentioned and the exercises itself. The unnecessary discomfort and wrong muscles and bones used as counterbalance. Conventional apparatus for abdominal stretch rolling and plank exercising are unstable, clunky, wide, non-supportive pieces of apparatus. Even harden floor and rolled out mats can be an inconvenience in a home environment.
This multi exercise wheeled device comprises close in rotatable handles (1.) naturally aligning forearms and upper body from the support surfaces provided too (8.) Guiding and stabilizing the body in motion or static bi-directional exercises. The close in ergonomic (3.) handles rotate upright (2) for maximum static plank support. The handles rotate down (4.) onto their catchment (5.) for guided support of the abdominal stretching exercise (6.). Thumbs under, and fingers over in the centre of bar for comfortable grip.
The two exercises comfortably converge while in bi-directional motion with the handles positioned upright (2.) and confidently at your own motioned pace. (9.) The multi exercise wheeled device comprises integrated, carrying handle that supports portability and placement for the device (7.) Please see drawing Fig. 1 & Fig. la to accompany description.
