Abstract

Bags and sheets can be used to perform a variety of tasks - these can make structures for use outdoors - they can be used in industry or for fun. Bags can be used to make anchors and provide flotation. Along with a description that describes applications of bags for fun. there is also a description of various renewable energy systems and industries that can use the bags for all sorts of applications.

Claims (33)

Claims -
1. A bag and sheet system can be used to create at least one kind of shelter and it can provide inverse segregation in case of avalanche.
2. A system according to claim one, sheets and bags can be joined with an attachment system
3. A system according to claim one and two an air-filled bag can be attached to at least one of: a person, a thing, to provide at least one of floatation, inverse segregation.
4. A system according to claim one to three, a bag system can be filled with at least one of a fluid, a solid.
5. A system according to claim one to four, a weighted or buried bag can be an anchor to a person or thing, including a shelter.
6. A system according to claim one to five, a bag joined to shelter can be at least one of, a beacon, an anchor.
7. A system according to claim one to six, a shelter can be anchored using a bag with an attachment system.
8. A system according to claim one to seven, the attachment system is at least one of, a webbing loop, a webbing, a rope, pressure, a pocket, a sleeve, at least one other form of association.
9. A system according to claim one to eight, a bag can be joined to at least one of; at least one other bag, at least one other sheet and can therefore be used to create at least one of, a range of structure, a means of anchoring, a means of providing a beacon.
10. A system according to claim one to nine, a bag that can be an anchor, can be used as part of a climbing or abseiling system.
11. A system according to claim one to ten, a shelter comprising a sheet and at least one bag, can be expanded by adding another sheet.
12. A system according to claims one to eleven, a shelter can use an anchorable bag system that can also provide inverse segregation depending on how it is filled.
13. A system according to claim one to twelve, a sheet can be packed away whereas the bag can remain filled, the bag can be at least one of: an anchor, a source of inverse segregation, a source of impact protection, a source of insulation, a source of buoyancy, a source of air, these qualities can be attributed to the person using the bag or to the shelter.
14. A system according to claim one to thirteen, where the sheet is sleeve, and as such bags can be placed within it to create a shelter.
15. A system according to claim one to fourteen, the sleeve can be anchorable and it can be an insulated shelter because of 1. the bags that support it, 2. because of an additional layer of insulation
16. A system according to claim one to fifteen, the sleeve has at least one spacer on its roof that can permit the addition of another sheet effectively to create a 2-layered shelter.
17. A system according to claim one to sixteen, the spacer is a bag, that can additionally be used as a source of insulation.
18. A system according to claim one to seventeen, the spacer can be worn on clothing, it can be fixed to clothing, to a person or to sheets, and to sleeping systems, such as sleeping bags and bivvi bags.
19. A system according to claim one to eighteen, the bag can be used as a filling to create at least one of: an avalanche air bag, a shelter wall, a wall, a crash mat, a boulder mat.
20. A system according to claim one to nineteen, wherein the additional layer of insulation of claim 15 can also be used as stuffing for at least one of the applications of claim nineteen.
21. A system according to claim one to twenty, the bag and sheet system comprises at least one kind of bag and at least one kind of sheet.
22. A system according to claim one to twenty one, the sheet of the claims can be fixed to cliff or slope to be a porta-ledge, or ski-jump, the shelter is anchorable because of at least one of the bag, the bag attachment system, the sheet, the sheet attachment system, the attachment system, bag and sheet as a group, permits the attachment of at least one of a webbing, a rope, a strap, to be fixed to at least one of the bags, the sheets to be at least one of; fixed to at least one rope, fixed to at least one bag, fixed to at least one anchor, fixed to at least one beacon.
23. A system according to claim one to twenty-two, a bag can be filled with at least one of, local matter, at least one other bag, and it can then be used to provide support for at least one of a sheet, a bag, to be at least one of; at least one kind of shelter, at least one embodiment of an avalanche air bag, at least one embodiment of an anchor, at least one embodiment of a beacon.
24. A system according to claim one to twenty-three, the at least one other bag of twenty-three is filled with at least one of, at least one type of air-filled bag, at least one foam sheet.
25. A system according to claim one to twenty-four; at least one type of air-filled bag, can have at least one valve.
26. A system according to claim one to twenty-five, the air fille bag of twenty-five has a valve that can be firmly closed and as such will not open with the weight of a person or impact.
27. A system according to claim one to twenty-six, a person can fix a bag to themselves using at least one of; an attachment system, rope, a webbing, a leash, as a result an bag can be used by a person as an avalanche backpack or a avalanche beacon.
28. A system according to claim one to twenty-seven, a bag of 27 can also be a shelter wall and can hold a sheet to make at least one kind of shelter.
29. A system according to claim one to twenty-eight, a bag of 27, and 28 can provide a means of finding a buried person because the buried person is attached to the bag and the bag floated whereas the person did not.
30. A system according to claim one to twenty-nine, a bag of 27,28 and 29, the bag can provide at least one of: a buried person, a rescuer with at least one method of providing air, and at least one method of aiding escape from being buried.
31. A system according to claim one to thirty, the method of 30 is at least one of, pulling a rope, pulling a coiled rope, pulling a webbing, passing air through a hose, providing heat to melt snow, the system can at least one of, create a passage by agitating snow, create a passage by heating snow, provide air so that a user does not suffocate.
32. A system according to claim one to thirty-one wherein the system uses at least one outer bag, at least one inner bag, and the inner bag is filled with at least one of air, at least one air filled bag.
33. A system according to claim one to thirty-two, at least one of: the outer bag, the inner bag, or claim thirty two has at least one attachment system that is at least one of a webbing, a strap, a rope, pressure.
