Abstract

A clip for holding a bead or keder edge of a shelter cover comprises a first body portion and a second body portion connected together at a connection point, the connection point being located between a clip gripping portion located at a first end of the clip, and a clip operating portion located at a second end of the clip. The first and second body portions are configured such that application of a force to the outer surfaces of the first and second body portions at the clip operating portion causes the first and second body portions to move apart from one another at the clip gripping portion. The clip gripping portions together forming a cylindrical void for receiving a bead or keder strip. The clip further comprises a load bearing portion located between the first body portion and the second body portion at the clip operating portion and connected to the first and second body portions,such that, in use, when a load is applied to the load bearing portion, a force is applied to the inner surfaces of the first and second body portions at the clip operating portion.
