Abstract
A ventilating inline skate includes an inner vamp 10 formed of EVA copolymer and including holes 11 and air-exit ports 12; an outer vamp 20 formed of EVA copolymer and including air-exit ports 21; a tongue 30 formed of EVA copolymer; a frame 40 secured to the outer vamp 20; a heel cap 50 secured to the frame (40); and wheels 60 mounted in line under the frame 40. The inner vamp 10 is disposed in the outer vamp 20 with the air-exit ports 12 aligned with the air-exit ports 21.
Description
VENTILATING INLINE SKATE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The invention relates to inline skates and more particularly to a ventilating inline skate.
2. Description of Related Art
Conventional ventilating inline skates are disadvantageous because air-exit ports of an outer vamp are not aligned with air-exit ports of an inner vamp after a period of time of use, i.e., loosened. Smell cannot be expelled out of the inline skate.
Thus, the need for improvement still exists.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a ventilating inline skate comprising an inner vamp formed of EVA copolymer and including a plurality of holes and a plurality of air-exit ports; an outer vamp formed of EVA copolymer and including a plurality of air-exit ports, a tongue formed of EVA copolymer; a frame secured to the outer vamp; a heel cap secured to the frame; and a plurality of wheels mounted in line under the frame; wherein the inner vamp is disposed in the outer vamp with the air-exit ports of the inner vamp aligned with the air-exit ports of the outer vamp.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a ventilating inline skate of the invention; FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the assembled ventilating inline skate; FIG. 3 is a side elevation of the ventilating inline skate of FIG. 2; and FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along lines A-A of FIG. 3. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a ventilating inline skate in accordance with the invention comprises an inner vamp 10 formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer and including a plurality of holes 11 and a plurality of air-exit ports 12 in front of the holes 11; an outer vamp 20 formed of EVA copolymer and including a plurality of air-exit ports 21; a tongue 30 formed of EVA copolymer and including a plurality of holes 31, a plurality of bolts 32 and a plurality of nuts 33; a frame 40 secured to the outer vamp 20; a heel cap 50 secured to the frame 40; and four wheels 60 mounted in line under the frame 40.
The inner vamp 10 is closely engaged with the outer vamp 20 with the air-exit ports 21 aligned with the air-exit ports 12. Further, the bolt 32 is driven through the holes 11,31 and the nut 33 to fasten the outer vamp 10 and the tongue 30 together. Thus, the alignment of the air-exit ports 21 with the air-exit ports 12 is secured. Smell inside the inner vamp 10 can be sufficiently expelled. Further, a wearer can feet a degree of comfort when wearing the inline skate because the inner vamp 10, the outer 15 vamp 20 and the tongue 30 are formed of EVA copolymer. Furthermore, the inline skate has an improved shock absorbing capability. As such, the feet are protected. While the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications within the scope of the appended claims.
