Abstract

259,714. Munro, H. Aug. 18, 1925. Hearing - appliances. - Means for controlling the intensity of sound in either of two telephone receivers for improving the power of hearing, comprises for each receiver 1, a variable resistance 11, a resistance 15 equal to that of the receiver, a member 17 for shortcircuiting the receiver, and switches for controlling the insertion in circuit of the receiver and resistances. The receivers may be connected in parallel, and each resistance 11 may be in series or parallel with its receiver. According to the Provisional Specification a graduated scale may be provided on a panel for the regulating apparatus.
