Abstract

A method of processing data about network connections, comprising receiving a measurement report from a user device connected to a network, wherein the measurement report includes data identifying a location and a group of one or more network nodes that the user device was connected to at that location; using the measurement report to maintain a set of records, wherein each record is a record, for a respective location, of one or more network nodes to which one or more user devices in the respective location have connected; receiving a query about the status of the network at a particular location; retrieving the record associated with the particular location; and responding to the query with information about the operating status of the one or more network nodes specified in the retrieved record.
