Abstract

A wheel arrangement (1) for a motor vehicle comprises a rim (2) and a pneumatic tire (3) mounted to the rim (2), which confine a radially outer wheel portion to accommodate a first portion of air (V1) and a radially inner wheel portion to accommodate a second portion of air (V2), wherein the inner wheel portion and the outer wheel portion are connected to exchange air between the first portion of air (V1) and the second portion of air (V2). The wheel arrangement (1) comprise an actuation system (4), configured to modify an axial width of the rim (2). The tire (3) and the rim (2) are arranged so that an air distribution between the first portion of air (V1) and the second portion of air (V2) is changed, when the width of the rim (2) is modified.
