[Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention] [0010] Examples of a delivery program, a delivery method, and a delivery device according to the present invention are described below in detail with reference to 30 the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited by the examples described below. Moreover, the examples can be appropriately combined without causing any contradictions.
[0011] [First example] Firstly, explained with reference to FIG. 1 is a provision system. As illustrated in FIG. 1, a provision system 1 is connected to a financial system 2 and an information processing terminal 10. The provision system 1 is meant for providing financial information and advertisement information to the user of the information processing terminal 10. The financial system 2 is operated by a financial institution such as a bank, and manages the account information and the usage history information regarding credit cards of each user. Moreover, in an example, it is assumed that the provision system 1 outputs coupons. A coupon represents an example of advertisement information.
[0012] Herein, for example, the information processing terminal 10 is a smartphone. The user executes a predetermined application in the information processing terminal 10. At that time, the information processing terminal 10 receives input of the user ID that enables identification of the user, and performs a login operation. Then, the information processing terminal 10 notifies the provision system 1 about the user ID of the user who logged in.
[0013] The provision system 1 includes an analysis device 20 and a delivery device 30. For example, the analysis device 20 as well as the delivery device 30 is a server device. The analysis device 20 receives the user ID from the information processing terminal 10. Moreover, the analysis device 20 obtains user information corresponding to the user ID from the financial system 2. For example, the analysis device 20 obtains the following information from the financial system 2: the changes in the balance in the account during a predetermined period of time; the history of payments using a credit card; and the scheduled date and time of payment as well as the amount of payment for the credit card.
[0014] The analysis device 20 analyses the information obtained from the financial system 2, and provides the analysis result to the delivery device 30. At that time, the analysis device 20 can provide the delivery device 30 with the analysis result in the form of codes corresponding to the types of financial situations classified in advance.
In the following explanation, the types of financial situations classified by the analysis device 20 are called insights. An insight is decided based on factors such as the growth rate or the decline rate of the savings, the transaction history, and the direct deposit of the compensation.
[0015] Moreover, it is assumed that an insight is identified by a code called an insight number. Herein, an insights and an insight number represents an example of the financial information related to a financial situation.
The analysis device 20 provides insights to the delivery device 30. At that time, the analysis device 20 can provide only the insight numbers to the delivery device 30, or can provide the insight numbers along with the information about the details of the insights.
[0016] The delivery device 30 obtains, from the information processing terminal 10, the user ID and present-location information about the information processing terminal 10. Moreover, the delivery device 30 obtains insights from the analysis device 20. Then, based on the present-location information and the insight information, the delivery device 30 delivers coupons to the information processing terminal 10. Along with delivering coupons, the delivery device 30 delivers messages that would lead to the use of those coupons. As a result, the delivery device 30 becomes able to deliver the coupons that are useful for the user, thereby enabling achieving enhancement in the likelihood that the coupons are used.
[0017] [Functional configuration] FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating an exemplary functional configuration of the information processing terminal according to an embodiment. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the information processing terminal 10 Includes an input unit 11, a display unit 12, a communication unit 13, a memory unit 14, and a control unit 15.
[0018] The input unit 11 is a device enabling the user to input information. The display unit 12 is a display for displaying screens. For example, the input unit 11 and the 15 display unit 12 constitute a touch-sensitive panel display.
[0019] The communication unit 13 is an interface for communicating data with other devices. For example, the communication unit 13 is an NIC (Network Interface Card) that communicates data via the Internet.
[0020] The memory unit 14 is an example of a memory device used to store data and to store programs that are executed by the control unit 15. Examples of the memory unit 14 include a hard disk and a memory.
[0021] The control unit 15 is implemented when, for example, a CPU (Central Processing unit) or an MPU (Micro Processing Unit) executes the programs, which are stored in the internal memory device, using a PAM as the work area. Alternatively, the control unit 15 can be implemented using an integrated circuit such as an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) or an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). The control unit 15 includes an obtaining unit 151 and a notifying unit 152.
[0022] The obtaining unit 151 obtains the location information of the information processing terminal 10 using the GPS (Global Positioning System) function. The notifying unit 152 notifies the analysis device 20 or the delivery device 30 about the user ID input using the input unit 11 and about the location information obtained by the obtaining unit 151.
[0023] FIG. 3 is a block diagram illustrating an exemplary functional configuration of the analysis device according to the embodiment. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the analysis device 20 includes a notifying unit 21, a memory unit 22, and a control unit 23.
[0024] The notifying unit 21 is an interface for communicating data with other devices. For example, the notifying unit 21 is an NIC and communicates data via the 15 Internet.
[0025] The memory unit 22 is an example of a memory device used to store data and to store programs that are executed by the control unit 23. Examples of the memory unit 22 include a hard disk and a memory. The memory unit 22 is used to store a financial situation DB 221.
[0026] FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the financial information DB. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the insights stored in the financial situation DB 221 represent information corresponding to various financial situations. For example, the insight having an insight number "G001" is meant for "notification of an increase in the expenditure in specific categories". Herein, the specific categories imply the utility charges such as the electricity bills and the water bills, and the expenses for purchasing specific articles.
[0027] The insight having an insight number "G006" is meant for "notification of the direct deposit of the compensation". Thus, the insights not only include the information indicating a decreasing trend of the assets as represented by the insight "G001", but also include the information indicating an increasing trend of the assets as represented by the insight "G006".
[0028] The control unit 23 is implemented when, for example, a CPU or an MPH executes the programs, which are stored in the internal memory device, using a RAM as the work area. Alternatively, the control unit 23 can be implemented using an integrated circuit such as an ASIC or an FPGA. The control unit 23 includes an obtaining unit 231 and a generating unit 232.
[0029] The obtaining unit 231 obtains the user ID from the information processing terminal 10. Moreover, the obtaining unit 231 obtains the information corresponding to the user ID from the financial system 2. The generating unit 232 generates insights for the user based on the information obtained from the financial system 2.
[0030] More particularly, the generating unit 232 treats the information, which is obtained from the financial system 2, as the input and generates insights using a model for outputting insight numbers. The model can be configured to use a known machine learning method such as a decision tree or a neural network.
[0031] FIG. 5 is a block diagram illustrating an exemplary functional configuration of the delivery device according to the embodiment. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the delivery device 30 Includes a communication unit 31, a memory unit 32, and a control unit 33.
[0032] The communication unit 31 is an interface for communicating data with other devices. For example, the communication unit 31 is an NTC and communicates data via the Internet.
[0033] The memory unit 32 is an example of a memory device used to store data and to store programs that are executed by the control unit 33. Examples of the memory unit 32 include a hard disk and a memory. The memory unit 32 is used to store a coupon DB 321 and an individual behavior DB 322.
[0034] FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the coupon DB. As illustrated in FIG. 6, in the coupon DB 321, the following items are stored for each coupon: insight number, coupon details, shop location, valid period, insight category, insight details, and message.
[0035] A coupon number represents information enabling identification of a coupon. Moreover, coupon details represent information such as the product available on discount because of a coupon. A shop location indicates the location of the shop at which a coupon can be used. A valid period indicates the period of time during which a coupon can be used.
[0036] An insight category and insight details represent information for minute classification of an insight. For example, there are four insight categories, namely, "encouragement", "reward", "giving pleasure", and "special deal information". The insight details give more detailed specification of the information indicated by the insight. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the insight "G001" is meant for "notification of an increase in the expenditure in specific categories". The insight details of the coupon having the insight number "G001" specify the category. Meanwhile, a message is delivered along with a coupon.
[0037] As Illustrated in FIG. 6, the coupon having a coupon number "0001" corresponds to the insight "G001", and indicates that a "cake" is available on discount in the shop located at "00 borough AA" during the period "1/7/2018-31/8/2018". Moreover, for the coupon "C001", the insight category indicates "encouragement" and the insight details indicate "increase in food expenses". Furthermore, for the coupon "C001", the message indicates that "the food expenses are on the rise...".
[0036] FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the individual behavior DB. The individual behavior DB 322 indicates the usage history of coupons on a user-by-user basis. For example, in FIG. 7, the first row indicates that the user having a user ID "11001" used the coupon "C001" on "1/7/2016 12:15".
[0039] The control unit 33 is implemented when, for example, a CPU or an MPU executes the programs, which are stored in the internal memory device, using a RAM as the work area. Alternatively, the control unit 33 can be implemented using an integrated circuit such as an ASIC or an FPGA. The control unit 33 includes an obtaining unit 331 and a delivering unit 332.
[0040] The obtaining unit 331 obtains the location information of the information processing terminal 10 and obtains the insights corresponding to the user of the information processing terminal 10. Herein, the obtaining unit 331 can obtain the location information from the information processing terminal 10 either directly or via the analysis device 20.
[0041] The delivering unit 332 outputs advice information regarding finances based on the insights obtained by the obtaining unit 331, and delivers coupons decided based on the location information and the insights.
The delivering unit 332 represents an example of an output unit. Moreover, delivering a coupon represents an example of outputting advertisement information.
[0042] More particularly, the delivering unit 332 delivers a coupon and a message that correspond to the coupon number obtained by searching the coupon DB 321 by location information and an insight number. The delivering unit 332 outputs the advice information by including therein a message for associating an insight and a coupon.
[0043] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 6, a plurality of coupons is associated to the insight "G001". At that time, if the location information of the information processing terminal 10 indicates "00 borough AA", then the delivering unit 332 delivers only the coupon "C001" and not the coupon "C002".
[0044] Moreover, the delivering unit 332 delivers coupons decided further based on the coupon usage history of the user. In that case, the delivering unit 332 refers to the individual behavior DB 322 and searches for the coupons identical to the coupons used in the past by the user. Moreover, the delivery device 30 can get prior permission for recording the coupon usage history of the user in the individual behavior DB 322 via the information processing terminal 10.
[0045] The information processing terminal 10 displays, in the display unit 12, the advice information and the coupon delivered by the delivery device 30. For example, in FIG. 1 is illustrated an example of the advice information and the coupon corresponding to the insight number "G002".
[0046] In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "The savings are increasing at a good rate and are nearing the goal" as the overview of the insight. Moreover, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "For the eager beaver:last like you..." that is delivered as the advice information by the delivery device 30. Meanwhile, the message "For the eager beaver just like you..." represents an example of the message for associating an insight and a coupon.
[0047] In this way, when the insight indicates that the amount of assets of the user is on an increasing trend based on predetermined criteria, the delivering unit 332 outputs the advice information by including therein a message for recommending the purchase of a favorite article, and delivers a coupon usable at the time of purchasing that favorite article.
[0048] Moreover, the information processing terminal 10 displays the image of a character that changes the expression according to the insight category of the insight. Furthermore, the information processing terminal 10 displays a coupon along with a message. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the information processing terminal 10 displays a coupon for getting a discount on parfait. A coupon includes the shop name, the product name, the cost of the product before and after discount, the number of times for which the coupon can be used, and the period of time in which the coupon can be used.
[0049] Meanwhile, if the user taps on an "Open and use right now" section, then the information processing terminal 10 displays a screen for informing the shop about the use of the coupon, and notifies the delivery device 30 about the fact that the coupon was used. Then, the delivery device 30 stores the usage history of that coupon in the individual behavior DB 322. Moreover, if the user taps on an "I wish to go there" section, then the information processing terminal 10 displays, on the screen, a map indicating the route to the shop at which the displayed coupon can be used.
[0050] FIG. 8, FIG. 9, and FIG. 10 are diagrams illustrating examples of a coupon display screen. In FIG. 8 is illustrated an example in which the insight number is "G004". In the example illustrated in FIG. 8, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "In the neighborhood, there is an affiliated shop where the reward points can be used!" as the overview of the inside. Moreover, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "Let me guide you" that represents the advice information delivered by the delivery device 30.
Meanwhile, in this case, the delivery device 30 delivers a coupon usable at the time of dining out.
[0051] In FIG. 9 is illustrated an example in which the insight number is "G003". In the example illustrated in FIG. 9, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "As compared to the women of the same age..." as the overview of the insight. Moreover, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "A good dresser at an affordable price..." that represents the advice information delivered by the delivery device 30.
Meanwhile, in this case, the delivery device 30 delivers a coupon usable at the time of purchasing articles of clothing.
[0052] In FIG. 10 is illustrated an example in which the insight number is "G007". In the example illustrated in FIG. 10, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "On the 28-th of the month, there is a comparatively large credit-card payment..." as the overview of the insight. Moreover, the information processing terminal 10 displays a message "For you who wishes to cut down on the living expenses_" that represents the advice information delivered by the delivery device 30.
Meanwhile, in this case, the delivery device 30 delivers a coupon usable at the time of purchasing food items.
[0053] In this way, when the insight indicates that the assets of the user are on a decreasing trend based on predetermined criteria, the delivering unit 332 outputs the advice information by including therein a message that recommends cutting down on the expenses, and delivers coupons usable at the time of purchasing the daily necessities.
[0054] [Flow of operations] Explained below with reference to FIG. 11 is a flow of operations performed in the provision system 1. FIG. 11 is a sequence diagram illustrating an exemplary flow of operations performed in the provision system. As illustrated in FIG. 1, firstly, the information processing terminal 10 performs a login operation according to the user input (Step S101). Herein, the information processing terminal 10 obtains the location information using the GPS function (Step S102).
[0055] Then, the delivery device 30 obtains the location information from the information processing terminal 10 (Step S103). Moreover, the analysis device 20 obtains the user ID from the information processing terminal 10 (Step S104). Subsequently, the analysis device 20 generates an insight based on the user ID (Step S105).
[0056] Then, the delivery device 30 obtains the insight from the analysis device 20 (Step S106). Subsequently, the delivery device 30 searches for a coupon based on the insight and the location information (Step S107). At that time, the delivery device 30 can reflect the coupon usage history of the user in the search.
[0057] The delivery device 30 delivers the retrieved coupon and the advice information to the information processing terminal 10 (Step S108). Then, the information processing terminal 10 displays the coupon and the advice information that are delivered by the delivery device 30 (Step S109).
[0058] [Effect] As explained above, the delivery device 30 obtains the location information of the information processing terminal 10 and obtains the financial information corresponding to the user associated to the information processing terminal 10. Moreover, the delivery device 30 delivers the advice information regarding the finances based on the obtained financial information, and delivers the advertisement information decided based on the location information and the financial information. In this way, the delivery device 30 delivers the advertisement information based on the present location and the financial situation of the user. Hence, the delivery device 30 can output the advertisement information that is more useful for the user.
[0059] Furthermore, the delivery device 30 delivers the advertisement information further based on the advertisement information usage history of the user. In this way, the delivery device 30 can deliver the advertisement information according to the liking of the user. Hence, the delivery device 30 can output the advertisement information that is more useful for the user.
[0060] Moreover, the delivery device 30 outputs the advice information by including therein a message for associating the financial information and the advertisement information. In this way, the delivery device 30 can deliver a message that prompts the user to use the advertisement information. Hence, the delivery device 30 enables achieving enhancement in the likelihood that the user uses the delivered advertisement information.
[0061] When the financial information indicates that the amount of assets of the user is on an increasing trend based on predetermined criteria, the delivering unit 332 outputs the advice information by including therein a message for recommending the purchase of a favorite article, and delivers a coupon usable at the time of purchasing that favorite article. In this way, the delivery device 30 can recommend the purchase of a favorite article to a user who is in good financial shape. Hence, the delivery device 30 enables achieving enhancement in the likelihood that the user uses the delivered advertisement information.
[0062] When the financial information indicates that the amount of assets of the user is on a decreasing trend based on predetermined criteria, the delivering unit 332 outputs the advice information by including therein a message for recommending cutting down on the expenses, and delivers coupons usable at the time of purchasing the daily necessities. In this way, the delivery device 30 can recommend cutting down on the expenses to a user who is not in good financial shape. Hence, the delivery device 30 enables achieving enhancement in the likelihood that the user uses the delivered advertisement information.
[0063] Meanwhile, according to the embodiment described above, the delivery device 30 refers to the individual behavior DB 322 and delivers coupons decided based on the coupon usage history of the user. Besides, instead of only using the coupon usage history of the user, the delivery device 30 can also reflect the pre-obtained user profile such as the gender, the age, and the profession in the coupons.
[0064] Meanwhile, the individual behavior DB 322 can also be used to store the coupon-by-coupon usage probability for the user calculated based on the coupon usage history of the user. In that case, the delivery device 30 refers to the individual behavior DB 322 and delivers the coupons having the highest usage probability for the user.
[0065] [System] The processing procedures, the control procedures, specific names, various data, and information including parameters given in the description or illustrated in the drawings can be arbitrarily changed unless otherwise specified. Moreover, the specific examples, the distributions, and the numerical values explained in the examples are only exemplary and can be arbitrarily changed.
[0066] The constituent elements of the devices illustrated in the drawings are merely conceptual, and need not be physically configured as illustrated. Specific embodiments in which the devices are separated or integrated are not limited to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings. The constituent elements, as a whole or in part, can be separated or integrated either functionally or physically in an arbitrary unit based on various types of loads or use conditions. Moreover, the processing functions implemented by the devices are entirely or partially implemented by a central processing unit (CPU) or computer programs that are analyzed and executed by the CPU, or implemented as hardware by wired logic.
[0067] [Hardware] FIG. 12 is a diagram for explaining an exemplary hardware configuration. As illustrated in FIG. 12, the delivery device 30 includes a communication interface 30a, an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 30b, a memory 30c, and a processor 30d. Moreover, the constituent elements illustrated in FIG. 12 are connected to each other by a bus.
[0068] The communication interface 30a is a network interface card and performs communication with other servers. The HDD 30b is used to store programs and databases meant for implementing the functions illustrated in FIG. 1.
[0069] The processor 30d reads a program, which is meant for performing operations identical to the operations of the processing units illustrated in FIG. 3, from the HDD 30b and loads it in the memory 30c; and accordingly runs a process for implementing the functions explained with reference to FIG. 3. That is, the process implements functions identical to the processing units of the delivery device 30. More particularly, the processor 30d reads, from the HDD 30b, a program that enables implementation of functions identical to the obtaining unit 331 and the delivering unit 332. Then, the processor 30d executes a process that performs operations identical to the obtaining unit 331 and the delivering unit 332.
[0070] In this way, the delivery device 30 functions as an information processing device that reads and executes a program and thus implements the classification method. Alternatively, the delivery device 30 can read the abovementioned program from a recording medium using a medium reading device, and can execute the program to implement the functions identical to the example described above.
