Background
Currently, there are analogous plastic cards used for their holder identification, involved in loyalty programs or functioned as analogue of means of payment. They differ in identification methods.
Card identification method with bar code printing. The principle of the method is transferring the alphanumerical information, encoded in the form of bars, on the plastic card surface. It represents flat marking of information allowing for subsequent infrared reading by electronic scanner and using by the computer for further information search. This security method is not highly effective, since it is possible to make a card photocopy and use the code copy. Field of application -discount system, accounting system.

The principle of the method is transferring the alphanumerical information in the form of flat characters on the plastic card surface with possible subsequent typing (dyeing). It is typical of cards intended for "electronic" use only. The distinctive feature of this identification method and means compared to the current invention is that characters pressed out on the plastic card do not have a relief, i.e. the characters look like engraved and do not project above the card surface. Such method is also called as burning or indentation. The distinctive feature compared to the current invention is that indent printing allows to indent the standard font only: figures 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm high and Latin and Cyrillic characters 3 mm high. The distinctive feature compared to the current invention is that it is possible to put the indented characters in one plane, parallel with the long side of the plastic card, not closer than 5 mm from the edge.

As an analogue of the plastic card identification method there is information transfer method with hologram printing, at which an individual cliche is made. In this technology an impression from the special matrix (cliche) is transferred to the plastic card surface through metallized foil.
As an analogue of the identification method there is information transfer method with stamp printing, at which an individual cliche is made. The difference is concavity of the cliche, through which the metallized foil is drawn and heat glued to the plastic card surface.
As an analogue of the current invention there is the identification method called embossing. Embossing -stamp printing, chasing -the process of mechanical pressing-out of different information by means of an embosser, which is a mechanical press able to emboss letters, preinstalled on the special drum, on the underlaid piece of plastic. There are manual and mechanical embossers. The embosser comprises a mechanical carriage with two compartments: a card subject to embossing is put into the A compartment, the standard card used as a reference by operator when embossing the characters is put into B compartment. The required character is selected by means of the special letter drum located in the upper part of the embosser, and after slight pressing the lever the set figure or character is embossed on the card. As soon as the lever is in the upper position, the embosser carriage moves one character in horizontal direction, if the carriage comes to the right edge, it moves one line down. Mechanical embossers have automatic card feeding and computer interface, information can be input by keyboard connected to the machine directly or via desktop computer, that enables to personalize plastic cards quickly. In all other respects the principle of character embossing by means of letter drum is retained.
The cause preventing from obtaining the technical result of the current invention by embossing is limitation of imprinted information due to the embosser principle, where all alphanumerical information is contained on metal rotating disk and limited by two kinds of fonts: Farrington OCR, size 4.5 mm, is used for embossing figures only; Standart Gothic and Cyrillic, size 3.5 mm -is used for embossing figures and letters, Russian capital letters (A-SI) and Latin capital letters (A-Z) and also the characters -,/.?&#(). The impression height is 0.46 mm strictly. Card information readout is performed by imprinter -mechanical device intended to confirm a slip when making an operation with payment card. As for this aspect, this analogue is similar to the current invention in terms of characteristics.
As an analogue of the current invention there is the identification method called indent-printing, at which different characters are pressed out on the prefabricated plastic card by means of a cliche. The distinctive feature of this technology compared to the current invention is that characters pressed out on the plastic card do not have a relief and do not project above the card surface. Also the difference of this technology is limitation of imprinted information, this plastic card identification method enables to indent standard font figures 3 mm and 5 mm high, Latin and Cyrillic letters 3 mm high., and also the characters can be of two colours only. Card information readout is performed by imprinter in a similar way as with the embossed card. As for this aspect, this analogue is similar to the current invention in terms of characteristics.
As an analogue of the current invention there is the identification method called stamp printing, at which information transfer is performed by means of a cliche. The distinctive feature is a concave cliche through which the metallized foil is heat adpressed.
Disclosure of the invention
Plastic card can be used as a payment document being a universal finance product, it can be an advertising product involved in loyalty programs, and also be an identification card identifying its holder or company which it is owned by, also this identification method is vital for people with disabilities, such as blind and poor sight people. There has always existed, exists and will be existed the category of clients which would like to claim more attention, have more originality and presentability and also uniqueness of the plastic card as a tool evidencing a certain social status. Provided that, the achieved technical result is in increasing the useful life and reliability, imitation and counterfeit protection level, creativity, meeting individual requirements of their holders and companies-owners, including uniqueness and artistic concept requirements. Plastic card can be used by territorial entities, commercial enterprises, organizations and individuals for increasing the recognition and recognizability in a society. Field of application of the current invention is limitless.
The main difference between the existing analogous identification means and unique solution for identification method is the embossed multilevel 3D impression 0.1-0.45 mm high punched on the standard sized plastic card by means of a cliche enabling to indent the information on the plastic card in the form of graphic symbol (logo, armory, heraldry, emblem, ideograph, etc.), and (or) literary text in any place and of any size within the area of the plastic card meeting the requirements of the standards ISO-7810, ISO-7811, ISO-7812, ISO-7813, ISO-7816, GOST 50809, 54 x 86 x 0.76 mm or of other sizes.
When creating the current invention, the problem of special purpose means range expansion and obtaining such means for the first time is solved; technical result is in implementation of this purpose. The current invention ensures achieving several technical results.
Technical result achieved by the current invention will expand the boundaries for artistic identification of plastic cards, pressing out embossed logos, armories, heraldry, art fonts and give full scope to imagination of card holders; in addition to creation of the unique product the current invention forms high imitation and counterfeit protection. The current invention enables to read out information from the plastic card by obtaining the impressions using the contact-copy method as a counterfeit protection method. It can be of great current interest for major corporations on behalf of which the card holders effect finance, promoting, identification or other operations. For such readout technology the imprinter -mechanical device intended to confirm a slip when making an operation, is used. Such technology will be always relevant, since it enables to read out the information -impression under any conditions, even in case of power and communication outage. Along with already existing plastic card identification and security methods the current invention will find use in a wide variety of customers.
Brief description of drawings
Standard sized plastic card manufactured in accordance the requirements of the standards ISO-7810, ISO-7811, 150-7812, ISO-7813, ISO-7816, ISO-4909, GOST 50809, having the following characteristics: height: 54 mm (53.98 mm ±0.06 mm), width: 86 mm (85.6 mm ±0.13 mm), thickness: 0.76 mm (0.76 mm ±0.08 mm), corner radius: 3,18 mm ±0,3 mm, made of polyvinylchloride (PVC).
The drawing depicts a plastic card with the embossed and multilevel 3D impression pressed out on its surface.
Fig. 1 Plastic card with the pressed out embossed multilevel 3D impression 0.1-0.45 mm high.
Embodiment of the invention The method of obtaining pressed out embossed graphic image on the plastic card involves using detachable cliche and matrix. The cliche is a printing plate for reproducing text and symbols, which is manufactured individually for each client. The cliche is attached to the moving element able to cover all card area and some area beyond its bounds, it is necessary to imprint the image in any place, within the card area and beyond its bounds and not interfering with other, jointly used, plastic card identification methods. The most commonly used materials for manufacture of modern cliche -magnesium, copper, brass, polymer. Immediately before imprinting the graphic symbols and text on the plastic card, the cliche and matrix are installed into printing device. When feeding the plastic card from card holder or moving on the belt, the plastic card enters the area of matrix installation, then under mechanical pressure the cliche moves down pressing plastic into the matrix form. The card is fed horizontally, and at the same position the impression is made, at this moment the card is fixed with clamps to get high quality image. Thus, the pressed out embossed multilevel 3D impression 0.1-0.45 mm high is obtained.
