Abstract

A rope 2 is secured within a belt 1 such that it protrudes from either end. At each end of the rope there is a hook, clip or clasp 3 with tightening buttons 4 capable of securing the rope and belt to a pram, pushchair, stroller or similar. The belt attaches to a user’s waist by means of buckles 5 and has a plurality of pockets.

Description

Mother to Baby Pram Pushchair Belt This invention relates to a device called a Mother to Baby Pram Pushchair Belt that connects the mother to a baby/toddler in a pushchair or pram.
When parents are using a pram or pushchair, there needs to be a safety device that will attach the parent to the pram or pushchair.
For years there has been reported accidents of parents where for a split second have let go of their child's pram or pushchair and this has led to the pram/pushchair falling down the escalator, off the train platform or even fallen down a river. This device will help in preventing accidents by creating a device that connects the parent to the pram/pushchair.
This invention will act as a support or protection for the child incase the parent lets go of the pram or pushchair similar to that of a seat belt in a car.
The belt will have a long robe within the unit that will appear as two robes at each side, two hooks attached toboth ends of the robe, two tightening buttons, three buckles on the belt and two pockets.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows the belt with all the units, two pockets, an attachment robe that appears as two robes, two hooks, two tightening buttonson the hooks and three belt buckles.
Figure 2 shows the inside of the device with one long robe appearing as two robes, one from the left and the other from the right side with the hooks and tightening units.
Figure 3 shows a mother pushing a pushchair wearing the device with the hooks attached to the pushchair.
In figure 1, the drawing shows the full front picture of the device, 1 is the whole invention, 2 is the robe that appears as two robes, 3 is the hook, 4 is the tightening units and 5 are three belt buckles.
In figure 3, shows how the unit will be used. We see a mother pushing her child in a pushchair wearing the invention around her waist as a belt. The hooks are attached to the pushchair and are fastened with tightening units. The mother is holding the pushchair but if she is removes her hands from the pushchair, the two robes 2, the hook 3 and the tightening units 4 will ensure that the pushchair still stays intact to the mother.
