Abstract

An electrical connector assembly arranged for connecting together at least one supply side electrical power cable 302 and a device electrical power cable 202 includes a first connector 3 having a set of first electrical connectors (7, Fig 7) and a second connector 5 arranged having a set of second electrical connectors. The set of first electrical connectors is moulded into a plastic support member 13, embedding at least part of each first electrical connector within the support member. Second parts of the first electrical connectors can plug into a terminal block 31. The connector assembly can be used in a lighting system.
