257,405. Harrison, S. C., and Iles, H. Aug. 20, 1925. Curtains, drawing and suspending. -Curtain rods of inverted T-section having runners moving thereon are formed with a cord guide at the underside in the form of a channel. The vertical rail a has a pair of flanges b at its lower end whereon run rollers c of the curtain runners d, and the cord f is held in a guide channel e formed by bending inwards the edges of the flanges. Brackets g on the rail a carry eyelets or guide pulleys h for the cord, the two ends of which may hang down at one end of the rail, which may be constructed in overlapping sections so that the cord passing through the guide channel of one passes through the eyelets on the other, and a pair of curtains when drawn overlap at the centre. A clip h is attached as by a spike l to the cord and engages the end runner d. Specifications 7429/11 and 114,907 are referred to.
