A container, which may be made from glass, for scent or fragrance 1 may be located within a ring shaped housing 2 via a lower pivot pin Fig 5, 7 that engages with a socket in said ring, Fig 6, 8. A cut out or relieved section of the frame or jacket 2 allows the neck of the perfume bottle to pass through and a locating collar 5 having a hole 6 therein passes over the dispensing jet 4 and neck of the bottle locating the upper part of the bottle in the housing 2. The bottle is thus held in and able to swing or turn on an axis within the housing. A decorative cap 3 may be placed over the atomiser to seal it.

Description

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to containers, especially for perfume and other fragrance containing toiletry liquids such as cologne, after-shave and the like,
DESCRIPTION OF KNOWN RELATED ART in the prior art, bottles and other liquid containers are known which include a capped opening on an upper end and an auxiliary opening or openings, such as an air vent, in the bottom or a side of the bottle but cannot rotate or revolve inside a ring metaf/wood/plastic frame because they are too rigid and do not have a metal /wood/plastic ring frame. Instead of having side-by-side compartments, the perfume bottle has one main compartment with a metal /wood/plastic frame attached fig. 1 (1) and (2).
The mechanism of the frame within which the bottle sits into a small opening in the middle fig 6 (8) where a tiny piece of pointed metal shaped like a pin is affixed to a metal rectangle fig 5 (7). The perfume bottle then inserts into the ring frame fig.1 (2) and is secured with the metal pin piece attached to a metal rectangle piece fig. 5 (7) within the opening gap at the bottom. Fig 6 (8) The top of the bottle is secured with a thick plastic rectangle piece with an opening for the dispenser spray head to slot through before clicking into to the ring frame and securing the giass/plastic bottle fig 4 (6) . This enables the giass/plastic bottle to be slightly suspended from the top, bottom and around the frame allowing for it to freely rotate and revolve around the ring frame.
There is no known perfume bottle which allows the bottle to be suspended and then to spin/revoive/rotate inside a metai/wood/piastic ring frame which is secured to it and does not affect the contents of the giass/plastic bottle.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the present invention has an object, among others, to overcome deficiencies in the prior art such as noted above.
Yet another object is to provide a bottle that is of novel, intriguing and attractive construction bydesign.
The present invention relates generally to a bottle that includes a mechanism allowing the bottle to rotate and spin within a metal/wood/plastic ring frame. The bottle has one opening for dispensing perfume fig 4 and is securely fastened from the bottom and top of the metal frame with flexibility to rotate. The metal frame does not impact the contents of the bottle fig 1 (2).
The bottle includes a thick inner wall and an thick outer wall fig 1 (1). An inner space, closed by the opening closure, is surrounded by the inner wall. This gives the liquid contents of the bottle greater protection.
The mechanism of the frame within which the bottle sits into a small opening in the middle where a tiny piece of pointed metal shaped like a pin is affixed to a metal rectangle fig 5 (7) and fig 6 (8). The perfume bottle then inserts into the ring frame and is secured with the metal pin piece attached to a metai rectangle piece within the opening gap at the bottom. The top of the bottle is secured with a thick plastic rectangle piece with an opening for the dispenser spray head to slot through before clicking into to the ring frame and securing the glass bottle fig 4 (6). This enables the glass bottle to be slightly suspended from the top, bottom and around the frame allowing for it to freely rotate and revolve around the ring frame fig 1 (2).
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
The above and other objects and the nature and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of an embodiments taken in conjunction with drawings, wherein:
FIG. 1 Central view of the glass or plastic bottle with the glass/plastic compartment rotating inside a ring frame which can be made of metal/piastic/wood.
FIG. 2 Central with of the glass/plastic bottle in the stand still slotted position without rotation.
FIG. 3 The top lid/cap removed to show the dispensing spray head and the thick metal rectangle through which the dispenser head slots through and Is secured before clicking into the ring frame and securing the bottle.
FIG. 4 The glass/plastic bottle in rotating position within the ring frame with the thick metal rectangle piece with the opening for the dispenser spray removed. The sides of the dispenser spray revealing the gaps where the thick metal rectangle piece is firmly secured by clicking into place.
FIG. 5 The glass/plastic bottle removed from the ring frame to reveal the bottom tiny piece of pointed metal shaped like a pin affixed to a metal rectangle and attached to the bottom of the bottle.
FIG, 6 The bottom half of the glass/plastic bottle showing a small opening in the middle where the tiny piece of pointed metal shaped like a pin inserts securing the bottom of the bottle to the ring frame.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Here and in the following claims:
bottle Includes all containers for holding a liquid wherein the walls of the container are either fully rigid, e.g. formed of glass or rigid plastic, or sufficiently rigid that the container assumes a fixed shape and returns to that fixed shaped after elastic deformation, e.g, formed of flexible or resilient plastic;
liquid” includes ail flowing substances, such as solutions, emulsions, colloids, gels, or aerosols;
A best mode contemplated for the present invention is shown in FIG 1 and cross-sections of the same embodiment are shown in FIGS 5 and 6 The same reference numerals are used throughout the drawing figures for the same parts.
The bottle of the invention incorporates a metal/wood/piastic ring frame which is securely fastened and forms part of the bottle: it has one interior spaces FIG 1 (1) for one liquid; it has one opening FIG 3 (4) for dispensing the liquid; and it has one closure/dispensers FIG 3 (4) for dispensing of the liquid from the top of the bottle. The metal/wood/piastic frame is connected to the bottle with a metal pin piece attached to a metal rectangle piece within the opening gap at the bottom FIG 5 and FIG 6. The top of the bottle is secured with a thick, plastic rectangle piece with an opening for the dispenser sprayhead to slot through before clicking into to the ring frame and securing the glass/plastic bottle FIG 4. This enables the glass/plastic bottle to be slightly suspended from the top, bottom and around the ring frame allowing for it to freely rotate arid revolve around the frame which is an invention distinct, from others.
Preferably, the bottle is highly symmetrical in two ways: first, radially around a longitudinal axis of symmetry A; and second, bilaterally across a plane perpendicular to the axis, it is also very smooth, presenting a curve of mathematics! simplicity and elegance, although its exterior may be textured or ornamented if desired.
The bottle is primarily intended for perfumes, colognes, and similar liquids for 'which packaging is extremely important. The ability for the bottle to rotate and spin within a frame presents a prospective purchaser with an intriguing structure, not seen before, which attracts attention and can lead to a sale.
A relatively expensive material can be contained within the protected inner chamber.
The unique shape of the outer surface is not only well-adapted to allow the bottle to rotate and spin but to allow it to securely dispense liquid from the structure; it also creates psychological effects, important in perfume bottles. The functional structure, the appearance and mechanism to rotate/spin interact to increase sales, and therefore the metal/wood/piastic ring frame structure and bottle together have utility beyond the utility of manufacture. Moreover, the preferably transparent walls FIG 1 further enhance the appearance. Different combinations of colored and colorless walls FIG 1 may be used.
The container outer wall FIG 2 surrounds the outer inside space FIG 2. The outer wali (Fl G 3 (4) includes an opening at the top of the bottle from which the liquid is dispensed from the outer space . The opening has a closure which is shown as a spray fitting or spray head in (FIG 3); although any conventional sort of closure can be used; pump, applicator, simple closure cap, etc.
Where dispenser is used instead of simple opening, an end cap (FIG 3) fit over the dispenser. This cap is shown exploded away from the rest of the bottle in (FIG 3). The cap has cap surfaces that smoothly connect with the outer surface of the bottle. The overall outer surface of the bottle is preferably smooth at the joints between the cap and the outer surface of the wail, with no discontinuity.
In the embodiment shown, the main part of the bottle (exclusive of the end cap) has a flat end through which the opening protrudes.
if formed of glass, the present container can be made by conventional giass blowing techniques, if formed of plastic, it can be made in various ways including blow molding, vacuum forming, injection molding, and combinations of these techniques.
The foregoing description of the specific embodiments will so fully reveal the general nature of the invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily modify and/or adapt for various applications such specific embodiments without undue experimentation and without departing from the generic concept, and, therefore, such adaptations and modifications should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalents of the disclosed embodiments.
