Spring surfaces. - In mattresses &c. comprising an inner spring-containing casing separated from an outer casing by a layer of padding, ventilating ducts 1 are provided in the form of solid-walled tubes with securing tongues 11, for attachment to flanges 12, 13 on the outer casing 5, and with an internally projecting lug 9 for attachment to the spring bearers 8.
