Abstract

Dispensing apparatus capable of dispensing a plurality of items from dispensing chutes. The device may have chutes 6, 9 for dispensing balls 2, cones 1 and bean bags, the chutes preferably having a release mechanism. The dispensing apparatus may have a dispensing chute 4 for dispensing cylindrical objects 3, the chute preferably having two identical release catches and being disposed higher up the device than other chutes. The dispensing apparatus may be a stand-alone unit or it may be placed on a raised support such as a table or bench. It may be adjustable in height, preferably with a motor in the legs. The device may be used to assist the rehabilitation of patient mobility or physiotherapy by facilitating repetitive reaching and grasping motions.
