Abstract

255,643. Morrison, N. L. July 27, 1925. Flates, dishes, saucers, and the like.-A combined saucer and plate is formed with an integral connecting-web indented or apertured to form holding-means. In one form a circular saucer 1, Fig. 1, and rectangular plate 2 are connected by a deeply-recessed waist portion affording gripping-means for the thumb and fore-finger. In another form shown in Fig. 3, the two members are combined to form an oval article provided with a hole 6, for the insertion of a thumb and with a depression 7 for sugar, condiment or the like. Fig. 5 shows a semi-circular plate connected to a circular saucer, and one slot 10 and a hole 6<a> provided as finger grips.
