Description

ROLLER BLIND CONTROLLER FOR THE EASY MOUNTING OF
A BEAD CHAIN
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a roller blind controller for easy mounting of a bead chain, especially to a roller blind controller in which a bead chain is mounted easily by a simple locking design.
Descriptions of Related Art
The curtains available now such as Roman style shades, Venetian blinds, roller blinds, etc. are pulled up or down vertically under control of a roller driven by a head controller.
Referring to Taiwanese Pat. Pub. No. M317233, a roller blind controller is disclosed. The roller blind controller includes a fixing base, a rotating disc, a chain, a fixing cap, two stopping springs, and a linkage connector. A plate is formed on a rear side of the fixing base while a connecting bar is extended from a center of the fixing base. A nut is set on an end part of the connecting bar. A plurality of engaging slots is disposed around the rotating disc and a sleeve tube with a positioning notch is extended from the center of the inner side of the rotating disc. The chain is in a continuous form and is mounted in the engaging slot of the rotating disc correspondingly. The fixing cap is arranged at the fixing base and having a through hole on a center thereof. Two sides of the stopping spring are extended to form a stopping pin respectively. An outer section of the linkage connector is extended to form a sleeve section. The fixing base is disposed on an inner side of the plate while the connecting bar is inserted into the sleeve tube and the two stopping springs are set on the connecting bar. The stopping pins are located at the positioning notch. The chain is wound around the engaging slot of the rotating disc and then suspended from the rotating disc. The fixing cap is disposed on the fix case for covering the rotating disc therein. The sleeve tube is passed through the through hole and the linkage connector is fitted on and connected to the sleeve tube.
When the user intends to assembly the chain of the roller blind controller on the rotating disc, he/she firstly turn out the screw that fastens the linkage connector with the connecting bar. Then loosen each component to form a certain gap between the engaging slot and the fixing cap. Thus the chain is mounted into the engaging slot. Next the components are turned back in turn and secured again by the screw. However, the assembly of the chain is not convenient. The screw is loosened by tools and then turned out. Moreover, other components fall off once they get loose and are unable to be turned back and tightened smoothly.
Referring to Taiwanese Pat. Pub. No. 428468, a spring applied to a roller blind controller is disclosed. A slot and a locking protmsion are axially formed on a rear end of a stopping rod. The locking protrusion is assembled with an outer cap correspondingly. While assembling a cord, the locking protrusion is pressed directly to be released from the outer cap. Thus each component gets loose a bit and the cord can be wound around a cord wheel.
There is no need to use tools during the loosening process. However, the disassembled roller blind controller may still have the same assembly problem that not all components are turned back and assembled precisely.
In order to solve the assembly problem, a roller blind controller with a quick assembly bead chain is disclosed in Taiwanese Pat. Pub. No. M496429. The roller blind controller mainly includes a fixing base, a bead roller, a spring and a sleeve connected in turn to form one part. A disc body is formed on one end of the sleeve and one end of the fixing base respectively. A protective cap is set on an upper edge of the disc body of the fixing base. The roller blind controller features on that the disc body of the sleeve is disposed with two separate mounting slots used for mounting two ends of the bead chain. The bead chain is mounted in the mounting slots and then the disc body is rotated. Thereby there is no need to disassemble the components while assembling the bead chain.
Thus there is room for improvement and a need to provide a novel roller blind controller easy for mounting a bead chain.
