Abstract

An electronic cigarette mouthpiece assembly comprising a female containing part 1, a male covering part 2 which inserts into the female part, a mesh 3 and a ball 4 which both sit inside the female part underneath the male part, the mesh directly above the ball. The mesh has a central hole. The mouthpiece, also known as a drip tip, stops liquid from the e-cigarette from reaching the mouth of the user, whilst allowing vapour to pass through. The lower end of the female part is narrower than the upper end, and has a cut-out hole to allow airflow. In use, the user inhales on the e-cigarette via the apparatus, and the airflow forces the ball up to the mesh, plugging the central hole. This causes airflow to travel around the ball and through the perimeter of the mesh, and liquid is dispersed on contact with the ball. When the suction from the user is released, the ball falls to the bottom of the female part, allowing liquid to run out of the assembly via the lower cut out, into the electronic cigarette liquid repository.

Description
This patent relates to an electronic cigarette (e-cig) and more specifically the mouth-piece (drip tip) which is used as the conduit between the e-cig and the user's mouth and allows them to inhale the vapour produced by the e-cig heating thus vaporising the liquid.
The standard drip tip comprises of a single piece tube to allow airflow through without obstruction.
This patent describes an assembly comprising of a (1) female, (2) male part (3) mesh with central hole and (4) ball.
The (4) ball sits at the bottom of the (1) female which is furthest away from the user, the bottom end of the (1) female is reduced in size so as to prevent the (4) ball from falling out of the assembly and has additional cut-outs on to allow airflow, the (3) mesh sits directly above the (4) bail with a slight gap to allow for movement of the (4) bail, after which the (2) male part is fitted to secure the (4) ball and (3) mesh.
The user would apply vacuum by inhaling via the (1) female part of the assembly, the cut-outs in the bottom of the (1) female allow airflow to begin thus raising the (4) ball up to the (3) mesh and plugging the central hole in the (3) mesh causing the airflow to travel around the (4) ball and through the perimeter of the (3) mesh thus any liquid is dispersed and deflected on contact with the (4) bail Once vacuum is finished the (4) ball would naturally fall into its original position at the bottom of the (1) female furthest away from the user leaving the central hole in the (3) mesh open so to allow any condensation which forms and returns to liquid state within the mouth-piece can run freely out of the assembly via the (1) female cut-outs and into the electronic cigarettes liquid repository to be used on the next attempt.

Claims
1. An assembly comprising of a (1) female, (2) male part (3) mesh with central hole and (4) ball to stop liquid from reaching the end user providing improved safety.
2. A (3) mesh and (4) ball system which deflects liquid and allows vapour to pass through whilst under vacuum.
3. A (3) mesh and (4) ball system which allows liquid to flow back into the electronic cigarettes repository whilst under no external forces apart from gravity
4. A (4) ball which concentrates the airflow resulting in a enhanced flavour.
