Abstract

A system in which a number of players may join together to form a team. One player sets up the team and is the Chairman, who keeps the records of bets and winnings/loses. Players download the app and request permission to join the team. Every player makes a selection, and each player takes it in turn to place bets based on those selections. The cumulative winnings may be withdrawn by the Chairman, with the agreement of each player.

TeamAccy is a simple and effective group based betting strategy. It will be developed into a Football accumulator app and web based programme that, enables a group of friends to band together and bet against the bookies., at the same time enables the players to compete against each other in a league type format.

Simply put, It is a take on something me and a group of friends have been doing for years and have the evidence (through spreadsheets) to hack this claim up. You bet as a team - you each have one pick each week and each pick is put together In an accumulator. For example - If there are 5 team members in a team - ONE team member will place ONE bet each week - which is an accumulation of every team members pick -so a 5 member team would produce a 5 fold bet each week.

Slick and easy, each person has to download the app or create an account online, similar to any betting app or login, you create your username (creative and fun), password and upload a picture.

Any Individual has the ability to Create a Team - Team Name, Team Logo and a Latin translator to create the Team Motto. The person who creates the team will automatically be placed as '’'Chairman" and is in control of the team admin and ultimately responsible for withdrawing any potential funds. The Chairman holds the League Code which can be entered In order to apply to join a team - The Chairman either accepts or declines someone's application to join the team but generally speaking a player Is invited to join in any case.

There is a table and historical database (similar to the spreadsheet formula attached) so everyone has access to see who's turn It Is to place the bet. Each team member choses their best pick of the gameweek, whether an outright win , a goal based bet or over/under, etc - once each member has confirmed their pick of the week an accumiator bet is generated by that weeks "Captain". The Stake is optional but needs to be agreed and consistent for that Game-Round , i.e. If the first person bets £10 and there are 5 members in the team - each member must also bet. £10 before it goes round to the first Captain again,

You can see who has picked which bet and who has the smallest or longest cumulative odds - you can see who is correct more often than not, who lets the team down and who is picking the safest bets.

Each 6 months ···· Christmas and End of Season ···· the team member with the most wins is awarded the Golden Boot, The team member with the most losses is awarded the Wooden Spoon. If the scores are level, the player with the longest odds finishes the highest.

Each week team members are sent push notifications and reminders about who's turn it is to bet and to place their initial pick for the week. They also have to confirm their pick before the bet is generated.

Each team member can put a flag on another team members initial pick and leave comments to increase the social networking aspect of the app.

Each week the player with the lowest odds or below a certain threshold is given the "Fluffy Slippers" badge, the member with the longest odds is given the "Big Kahunas" badge - these are logged on each members account to encourage imaginative bets

Funds can be withdrawn at any point to the Chairman - with each team member having to dick confirm before they can do so. Teams are encouraged to keep the pot until each half season review. Teams can each authorise money from the pot to be used in another bet if needed.

There is a system for Cup Bets also - these are generally encouraged if a player has a sizeable personal win, or if one individual costs the team the pot. They are not compulsory but will be logged on the overall table and count on each individuals scores.

So all in all - this Idea, intellectual Property and App/Internet Based Betting Set Up is a Unique Style of Betting unlike any other in the Market. 8. TeamAccy will reward winners and losers of the group tables at the end of each season, theoretically in a wooden spoon award for the loser and the Golden Boot for the winner.
9. TeamAccy will be able to run a nationwide competition among different leagues eventually, where different groups can compete against each other for a national prize, the winner of this will be based on Returns on Investment as a % as well as success percentage as a team.
