Abstract
254,143. Trafford, A. Sept. 16, 1925. License holders for motor vehicles.-A license holder for motor vehicles comprises an annular section 6 to receive the licence and a cover 9 formed with a flange 9<a> which screws on the outer periphery of the section 6. To form a weather-proof joint, a rubber or like washer 10 is interposed between a corrugated part 6<a> of the section 6 and the cover 9, as shown in Fig. 2. A groove 6<a> in the section 6 preferably receives the cement &c. adhesive 7 bv which the holder is attached to the car wind-screen, and projections 6<a> on the section pierce the licence card to prevent rotation of the licence in the frame. In a modified form construction, the cover 9 is secured by bayonet slots engaging pins on the section 6. Specification 179,377, [Class 122 (iii), Steam engines, Kinds &c.], is referred to.
