Abstract

A mobile device stand, comprising a holding portion (104) for holding a mobile device, a first support arm (12) extending at its proximal end from a base portion, wherein a socket (114) is provided at the distal end of the first support arm, said socket being configured to receive a spherical bearing (112) provided on said holding portion such that said socket and bearing together form a ball joint to permit pivoting about at least two axes of said holding portion relative to said support arm, the device further comprising means for releasing said bearing from said socket so as to remove said holding portion from said first support arm.
