Abstract

A shisha stand comprises an LED integration unit 6 detachably attached to a main body 1 of the stand by inter-engaging means 4. Said means may comprise a bayonet, a screw thread, a magnetic catch or other male and female inter-engaging means. The LED unit may be rechargeable or may be solar powered and is preferably waterproof. The LED system may comprise an in-built timer for switching the LED off after a specified period to indicate to a user that the tobacco being smoked needs to be changed or that a specified time period for a smoking session has elapsed. Also disclosed is a shisha stand comprising detachably attached legs and an inter-engaging means 3. The legs are preferably telescopic 5, 10 and may comprise a locking feature 8, 9 for locking in an extended configuration. A motor may be provided for extending the legs.

Description

Shisha Stand

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a shisha stand. Background A typical shisha session can last between 1 and 2 hours. Government health warnings have recently been issued that indicate that such a session has the potential to be as harmful as and effectively equivalent to smoking 100 cigarettes. On average the tobacco in shisha lasts for about 45 minutes, then after that it becomes burnt -so generally any longer you'll be smoking just charcoal without any flavour. This can result in coughing, general chest pains and a tickly throat.

No shisha lounge/bar is the same. Different lounges/bar have different setups. The size of an ordinary traditional shisha is significantly big, due to various parts. This is an issue when it comes to storage and placement of an ordinary shisha.

Summary of the Invention.

According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a rechargeable LED system that is integrated into the shisha stand that has an inbuilt timer to switch the LED off after a given period of time. This informs the smoker, that it's time for a tobacco change or that the session is over. In addition, in shisha lounges, when on busy days space is limited and there are queues of people to be catered for, it is possible to limit the sessions to a specified time, when that time has been reached it can be clearly seen by the integrated LED functionality of the stand. The present invention therefore aids to health in a number of ways, by avoiding smoking burnt Tobacco and by smoking too much at one time.

Preferably, the LED integration unit will detach itself from the bottom of the stand magnetically or in the alternative with a screw on feature.

Preferably, the LED integration unit is rechargeable for optimum result in longer LED life and keeping the mechanism running.

Preferably, the LED integration unit has an inbuilt sensor to monitor water vibrations, the LED will only come on when the shisha is in use. Saving on charge time and environmentally friendly.

Preferably, the LED integration unit waterproof due to possible slippage of water.

Preferably, the LED integration unit solar panel technology to power the LED if there is no mains charging available.

Telescopic shisha stand that fits into any environment is provided that, it can be elevated or lowered as desired catering for limited space and seating levels.

Preferably, the legs are detachable attached to the shisha stand magnetically or in the alternative with a screw on feature.

Preferably, the extended part of the telescopic legs will fit into an outer portion of the telescopic legs. Practically it is the outer portion of the telescopic leg that is detachably attached to the shisha stand.

Preferably, a motorised/solar powered unit, atomically adjust the telescopic legs to raise/lower the shisha stand as required.

Preferably, legs will have a magnetic feature that enables the shisha hose to be connected via-in stopping the hoses being loose on the floor.

One of the most significant advantages of this invention resides in its simplicity. A main body 1 is provided in which the glass bowl (not shown) of the shisha in housed. Apertures 2 are provided in the main body 1, into which the tops 3 of legs 5 are inserted. In one alternative the apertures and tops are provided with an interegnaging means. The interengaging means may be a bayonet, screw thread, magnetic catch or other male/ female interengaging members.

Claims

Claims 1. A shisha stand comprising an LED integration unit configured to be detachably attached to the shisha stand with an interegnaging means.
2. A shisha stand according to claim 1 wherein the interengaging means comprises a bayonet, screw thread, magnetic catch or other male female interengaging members.
3. A shisha stand according to claim 2, wherein the LED unit comprises is rechargeable.
4. A shisha stand according to any preceding claim wherein the LED integration unit comprises an inbuilt sensor to monitor water vibrations, wherein the LED integration unit is configured such that the LED will only operate when the shisha is in use.
S. A shisha stand according to any preceding claim, wherein the LED integration unit is waterproof.
6. A shisha stand according to any preceding claim, wherein the LED integration unit is solar powered.
7. A shisha stand comprising detachably attachable legs, with an interegnaging means.
8. A shisha stand according to claim 7 wherein interengaging means comprises a bayonet, screw thread, magnetic catch or other male/female interengaging members.
9. A shisha Stand according to claim 7 or claim 8 wherein the legs are telescopic.
10. A shisha stand according to claim 9, wherein the telescopic legs can be adjusted to a number of heights
11. A shisha stand according to claim 9 or claim 10, wherein a locking feature is provided that locks the telescopic legs into place when extended.
12. A shisha stand according to any of claims 7 to 11, wherein the legs are provided with a magnetic feature that enables a shisha hose to be connected to the legs.
13. A shisha stand according to any of claims 9 to 11, wherein the telescopic legs are configured to be extended by means of a motor.
14. A shisha stand according to claim 13, wherein the motor is solar powered.
