The wallet may include internal dividers D for dividing the interior storage space, and fold lines M about which the wallet can be folded to close the wallet. In another embodiment the wallet may close via a flap (O, fig. 1) secured via a fastener (F, fig. 1). Alternatively, the wallet may close via an edge zip (T, Z, fig. 3). The wallet may further include elastic bands (E, fig. 7), clips (CL, fig. 8) or pockets (P, figure 9) in the interior for retaining the carrier bags. One or more pockets, elastic bands or clips may be provided on the exterior of the wallet for storing additional carrier bags (see figures 10 & 11). The wallet may be attached to another carried item, such as a purse, via a cord which connects rings provided on the purse and wallet (see fig. 12). The wallet may be used for storing carrier bags when shopping.

Description

TilE CARRIER WALLET
DESCRIPTION
Background
This invention is called a carrier wallet as it signifies a container that is styled like a wallet or purse made of any material, and which is mobile that the user can take anywhere with them.
The carrier wallet is created for the purpose of containing one or more carrier bags! tote bags! plastic!hin!canvas bags or any form of hag (termed generally as carrier bags) which can be stored in or on the carrier wallet, taken out to be used and then put back into the carrier wallet. These designated areas are to be called storage areas.' The present invention relates particularly but not exclusively to storing the carrier bag(s) inside the carrier wallet, as it also can also apply to storing the carrier bag(s) on the outside of the carrier wallet.
In this invention, the carrier bags must be folded or rolled so that they become a smaller compact size that can be stored in or on the carrier wallet. Whether they are folded or rolled depends on the user's preference and of course the material composition of the carrier bags.
Currently there are wallets for storing credit cards and money, and purses that store money, cards and other items such as phones or purse wallets with a mixture of both. There are also cosmetic bags for storing make-up. However, there is no purse or wallet that has storing space made specifically for the use of storing more than one carrier bag that are not attached to the purse, wallet or container, the carrier wallet enables the user to store any number of carrier bags into the purse or wallet, take them out to use easily. and put any number back into the wallet one by one. A few examples where the carrier bags can be used are for grocery shopping, carrying items when moving house or for events when carrying any goods. Ultimately, the user is completely in control of exactly what type of hag they wish to store into the carrier wallet.
The objective predominantly is to keep all carrier bags in one place compactly and in a mobile fashion, The carrier wallet ensures that the carrier bags are kept securely and protected fiom damage. Many people forget to carry bags to supermarkets, or they have a few bags lying around in their handbags or cars which are prone to damage. There is also no other way of keeping multiple different types of carrier bags in one compact space that can all be neatly and easily carried anywhere, as the carrier wallet can be kept even in a coat pocket.
The carrier wallet will help to reduce the number of carrier bags people have to buy at cashier desks because they forget to bring their carrier bags with them when shopping or because their carrier bags have been exposed to damage. By i-educing the number of carrier bags bought each time, this enables the user to re-use their carrier bags a higher number of times.
The carrier wallet enables the user to maximise in the usage of carrier bags and help reduce The invention for which protection is sought is as set out hi the Claims appended at the end
of the Specific description.
Description of the invention
The Front of the Carrier Wallet Figures 1-3 Referring to figures 1 and 2, the carrier wallet W may open by an opening flap 0 in figure 1 and 2. The carrier wallet W can he a hi-fold or tn-fold carrier wallet which can he fastened F of any type and open completely flat to expose storage areas inside for the carrier bags. or it can open by its folds M on either side without becoming flat as demonstrated by figure 4 or 5 below. The carrier wallet W can also be kept together by a zipper track T as in figure 3, used by pulling the zipper Z. Or simply the carrier wallet W may just not have any form of fastening F nor flap 0 and simply be unfolded or opened with any type of hand pressure.
The strong materials used for the outside of the carrier wallet can range from plastic.
artificial leather, real leather, canvas or PU to any material with any colour or design with or without logos that enables the carrier bags inside or on the outside to be protected.
Preferably the carrier wallet is a size that is small enough to be conveniently kept in a handbag or car dashboard for example, but big enough to properly store carrier bag(s). The size that would he most suitable for folding carrier bags would typically he I 40x1 2Ox3cm
as an example.
The main aspect of the carrier wallet if that when opened, you will find different variations of storing the carrier bags, all of which have the common purpose of the invention of storing carrier bags in the storage aieas with different ways or keeping them securely in place. There can be the variation of the carrier bag(s) being stored onto the wallet as explored further down below.
The invention variations for storing the carrier bags INSIDE the carrier wallet are: Without dividers inside Figure 4 When the carrier wallet W is opened by its folds M as in figure 4 or 5. the inside will be one empty storage area S to store folded or rolled up carrier hag(s). These figures demonstrate the bird's eye view of the inside of the carrier waflet W when opened. The carrier bags (s) can be folded into squares as in CB or rolled up as in R where they will be standing vertically or lying horizontally across the st rage area S. The size of the carrier wallet W will enable an adequate number of carrier bags to be stored in the storage area with easy insertion and extraction by hand of the carrier bags.
With dividers Figure 5 The first aspect of this invention would be horizontal dividers D of any height, and of any thickness, in the carrier wallet W creating two or more storage areas S. This enables the user to fold the can-icr bag(s) CB and insert it/them into each storage area S. The carrier hag CB can be folded into a square shape and placed into the storage area S as a singular bag or more than one carrier bag can be folded and placed side by side to enable more carrier bags to be stored in the carrier wallet.
A second aspect of this invention would be that the user can roll the carrier bag(s) R and place them into a storage at-ca S with the longest side of the carrier hag(s) standing vertically. The rolled up carrier bag(s) R can also be aligned one side by side as or placed horizontally with the longest part of the rolled carrier bag(s) lying flat across the storage area S. The number of dividers D can be one or more creating any size and any number of storage areas S for the carrier bags. Preferably each divider D will be made from any sUong material, where it may or may not be attached from the left side of the wallet to the right side of the wallet. All dividei-s D can be made of plastic, card or any material that enables a sturdy division of storage areas within the carrier wallet inside.
The bottom of each dividers D is attached the base of the wallet W enabling them to be kept in place even when the carrier wallet closes and opens by its folds M. The inside of the carrier wallet can also have vertical dividers D that will store folded or rolled up carrier bags into different storage areas.
With elastic baud or clips or pockets Figures 6-9 Another aspect is that the hi-told or tn-fold Carrier wallet W can open completely to become a flat wallet with storage areas o store the carrier bag(s) placed on their own or on top of each other. However, they are folded or rolled or minimized, they are done in a way which will enable the carrier hag(s) to he kept in that storage area with the elastic hands or cords, clips or even by pockets made of ay material.
In figures 6 and 7 the purpose of this invention is to hold down the carrier bag(s) securely by using elastic bands E which are sewn onto the wallet only at the sides ES, so that the middle of the elastic hand E can he lifted enahlhg access Figure 6 demom4trates this process for for the folded carrier bag(s) CB and figure 7 shows rolled carrier bag(s) R. The access enables the user to place the carrier bag(s) CBIR uiiderneath the elastic hand E which is lifted by hand and that falls back onto carrier bag(s) CB/R. so that the elastic band E keeps the carrier bag(s) CBIR securely in place in the storage area.
Figure 8 demonstrates calTier bag (s) CB folded into square shapes and held down by clips CL or any fastening that can be lifted from one side with the other side of the clip CL attached to the carrier wallet W. By lifting the CL, the user can place the carrier hag(s) CB in place onto the carrier wallet W in the storage area, and then place the clip CL down onto the carrier bag(s) CB to hold them securely in place. This method for keeping the carrier bag(s) down by a clip can be used for rolled up carrier bags as well.
Referring to figure 9. the carrier wallet W opens flat and on the inside has storage pockets P made of plastic or material which can contain the carrier bag(s) CB securely and neatly inside the pockets P, allowing easy insertion and extraction by hand. The pockets P can be pulled out by its folds M to allow for the cant-bag(s) to be placed inside them, and will flatten by its folds M when the carrier wallet W is closed Figuie 9 demonstrates different size pockets that can be created inside the carrier wallet W as the number of sections in the carrier wallet can be any and of any size.
Storage outside the carrier wallet Figures 10-11 At the back of the carrier wallet B, there can be elastic bands, clips or pockets put in place for the purpose of storing the carrier bag(s) on the outside of the carrier wallet neatly and securely. In figure 10 there is a pocket which functions the same way in figure 9 with the folded carrier bag(s) CB inside the pocket. and in figure 11 there arc elastic bands that function the same way as in figure 6 securing the rolled up carrier bag(s) R in place.
Extension from a wallet Figure 12 There can be made an extension of any type with storage areas that can be attached to an existing purse or wallet which is used for storing money andlor cards. With reference to figure 12, a normal money purse MP can have a ring A which is attached to a cord of any material C that rings through the tip of a flat holder made of any material which contains a storage area for the carrier bag(s). This storage area can have a pocket. elastic band of clip.
In figure 12, the storage area if of the elastic band type as described for figures 6 and 7 above.
It will be appreciated that the carrier wallet nmy be modified within the scope of the Claims appended hereto.
